Engineers Week Feb. 17-23
When Wisconsin’s citizens enjoy a glass of clean water, safely cross a bridge or work in a multi-story building, they can thank engineers.
In honor of their important contributions, the American Council of Engineering Companies of Wisconsin – like many other entities throughout the country – is now celebrating Engineers Week.
Check out ACEC Wisconsin’s new #EngineersMakeItHappen poster to see 20 ways engineers improve the quality of life in Wisconsin. With Engineering…Everything’s Possible.
Jan Zander, P.E., ACEC Wisconsin Chair of the Board, said, “It is great to be part of making a positive difference in our world through infrastructure improvements – not only for today, but for the future of our local communities, our state and our country.”
On Feb. 20, ACEC Wisconsin members will participate in the seventh annual Legislative Day in Madison. They will meet with state legislators at the Capitol to discuss their priority issues. Over 100 engineers will be advocating for finding a long-term funding solution for transportation, investing in our state’s building program and preserving Wisconsin’s water resources for future generations.
