Civil 3D Workshop - Design Surfaces for WisDOT Earthwork Quantities

Earthwork quantity calculations can be even more challenging when they need to account for excavation below subgrade (EBS), marsh excavation, rock cut, or subgrade improvement. This class will demonstrate how to create design sub-surfaces that may be needed to calculate WisDOT earthwork quantities. Material volumes will then be calculated in Civil 3D and used to generate Excel spreadsheets for plan quantities. Attendees will also learn ways to verify the quantities computed in Civil 3D and used in Excel.
