Nearly all DFDM projects are delivered using the design-bid-build “Hard Bid” delivery process.  In this session, DFDM staff will speak to expectations of bidding documents with respect to the level of detail, verification of existing conditions, and other specifics necessary on state projects.

• Understand DFDM expectations for bidding documents on State of Wisconsin capital projects
• Learn about challenges DFDM faces when bidding projects
• Discover examples of situations where bidding documents lacked detail, causing cost overruns and project delays
