'We are thrilled to announce that Jason Ingram, PLS, has been promoted to executive vice president, effective November 1. This promotion constitutes the expansion of our executive team in response to Ayres’ drive toward growth, which has added approximately 100 employee owners to our ranks over the past several years. Our recent merger with Gausman & Moore brought our count to nearly 360 and increased the firm’s diversity with the addition of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering.

As part of our executive team, Jason will provide oversight and leadership to all aspects of Ayres’ business. His focus will be particularly sharp on efforts to enhance Ayres’ visibility and stature in the industry. This, in turn, will help the firm to foster lasting relationships with new and existing clients and partners while also attracting talented problem solvers to tackle our clients’ biggest challenges.

Jason joined Ayres in 1999 as a surveyor, and he’s been taking on growing responsibilities ever since. Most recently, Jason has been vice president of Geospatial, Ayres’ largest division, which provides land survey and aerial mapping services for a mix of public and private clients while also supporting many of Ayres’ other services. Jason has played a key role in Ayres’ surveying and mapping technology development, exemplifying the type of innovation that delivers creative solutions to our clients.

By promoting a non-engineer to the executive committee, Ayres is demonstrating the strong diversification that allows Ayres to provide a wide swath of services to clients, taking projects from planning through construction observation. Jason’s promotion also reflects Ayres’ long history of promoting from within.

Our newest executive is committed to his profession. Jason is involved in several national and state committees, including the American Council of Engineering Companies of Wisconsin Energy Committee, of which he is co-chair; the ACEC National Coalition of Professional Surveyors Steering Committee; and the ACEC National Water, Energy, and Environment Committee. Jason is a member of the National Society of Professional Surveyors, the Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors, and the Florida Survey and Mapping Society.

Jason is devoted to helping Ayres’ employee owners succeed. His straight-forward leadership style and his understanding of staff members’ personal and professional needs have enabled him to retain his loyal staff even in this challenging market.

Jason is also committed to family and community. He coaches his sons’ Little League and Babe Ruth teams, sits on his community’s park committee, and gets involved in other community activities.

“We congratulate Jason, and we look forward to his leadership as we continue our journey to enhance our culture, provide career opportunities for our employee owners, and most importantly continuing to inspire the innovations our clients appreciate,” says Bruce Ommen, president.

Jason earned a bachelor’s degree in land surveying from Michigan Technological University, and he holds professional surveyor licensure in Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Florida, and Utah.'
