'KL Engineering, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Scott Cramer to the role of Chief Leadership Officer, in addition to his current duties as Chief Operating Officer. The Chief Leadership Officer is a newly established position that underscores the company’s commitment to fostering leadership excellence and preparing for the next generation of industry professionals. Scott’s appointment follows the retirement of founder Kim M. Lobdell, PE, and reflects the company’s strategic vision for growth and innovation.

With more than 30 years of experience in the industry, Scott brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to his new role. Having joined KL Engineering in 2000 as an environmental specialist, he quickly became a pivotal member of the management team. Over the years, he has led initiatives in strategic planning, staff development, and company growth, consistently demonstrating his passion for fostering personal and professional advancement within the organization.

Scott’s background includes a B.S. in Environmental Sciences from Western Michigan University and a Certificate in Executive Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Over his tenure at KL Engineering, he has overseen daily operations, facilitated strategic initiatives, and championed personal and professional development for all staff.
