MSA Professional Services is pleased to announce that Jamie Kurten has been promoted to Director of Applied Technology and Innovation. Read the full press release below:

'MSA Professional Services, Inc. (MSA) announced today the promotion of Jaime Kurten, PE, to the role of director of applied technology and innovation. In this role Jaime will lead firmwide initiatives and advancements in technology, and will continue to lead a growing team in support of digital design pursuits and technology-enabled solutions.

Jaime joined MSA in 2003 as a transportation engineer within the company’s Mobility service line and was later promoted to senior transportation engineer. In 2019, she was named MSA’s Digital Design and Construction Information Manager. In 2022, Jaime also assumed the role of team leader for the company’s design technology group which oversees the company’s adoption technology associated with digital delivery including model-based design practices and BIM technologies.

Jaime holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Wisconsin. She has been a presenter for the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC)’s “Digital Transformation” webinar series and panelist at the Environmental Financial Consulting Group’s Technology Leadership Conference, speaking on the topics of digital design and delivery, industry trends, and firm adoption strategies.  Jaime will sit on ACEC’s Technology Leadership Committee leading discussion on data and artificial intelligence for the AEC Industry.
