CORRE Inc. is pleased to announce that their CTH S Reconstruction and Reconditioning project in Vilas County won WisDOT’s 2024 DTSD Design Award for Best Local Program Project. Read the full press release below:

"We are excited to announce that the CTH S Reconstruction and Reconditioning project in Vilas County won WisDOT’s 2024 DTSD Design Award for Best Local Program Project.  

CORRE provided design services for this 3-mile-long roadway project that improved safety by significantly realigning CTH S on a new alignment by removing blind curves and improving sight distances. Multi-jurisdictional coordination involved the NC Region, County Highway and Forestry Departments, and Township. Extensive environmental collaboration with the WDNR was completed to address stream realignment and wetland impacts.
