Baxter & Woodman is pleased to announce that Louis Haussmann has bee appointed as the firm's CEO. Read the full press release below:
'Baxter & Woodman, Inc. is pleased to announce that Louis D. Haussmann, P.E., has been appointed Chief Executive Officer at the company’s annual shareholder meeting on April 25th, 2025.
Haussmann, who has been with the firm since 1996, has been a key member of Baxter & Woodman’s leadership team for over a decade. He has served on the firm’s Board of Directors since 2009 and held the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) since 2011. In 2024, he was promoted to President.
As Chief Executive Officer, Haussmann will oversee corporate governance, strategic direction, and long-term planning for the firm. His leadership will guide Baxter & Woodman’s continued expansion and shape its future.
“Stepping into the role of Chief Executive Officer at such a dynamic time in our industry is an exciting opportunity,” said Haussmann. “Baxter & Woodman has always embraced innovation and client-centered solutions, and I look forward to leading the firm into its next chapter of growth.”
Haussmann holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (1997) and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (1995) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois, Indiana, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Texas, and Wisconsin. He is also a certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer and Professional Transportation Planner.'
