"BROOKFIELD, Wis. — Chris Stamborski, assistant director of municipal services at raSmith, has been awarded with membership into the Central States Water Environment Association (CSWEA) Golden Manhole Society.
Stamborski is the first member of the society from raSmith.
The Golden Manhole Society’s membership award is presented annually to a person from each state section to recognize the individual’s significant contributions in the field of wastewater collection systems. The Golden Manhole Society has honored new members for over 18 years.
Stamborski has spent the majority of his 19-year career, all with raSmith, in sanitary sewer evaluation, investigation and rehabilitation work, concentrating mainly on the identification of inflow and infiltration sources and their subsequent rehabilitation. Stamborski holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Marquette University.
About the Award
The CSWEA Golden Manhole Society is a professional society formed by the Water Environment Federation’s (WEF) Collection System Committee. The committee has encouraged each of its member associations to create a society that awards people’s achievements in the operation management or design, or operator education associated with sanitary sewer systems.
