Strand Associates is pleased to announce that Kent Locy, PE has been promoted to vice president. Read the full press release below:
'Strand Associates, Inc.® (Strand), announces the promotion of Kent Locy, P.E., Senior Associate, to Vice President, effective January 1, 2019. Kent joined Strand in 1993 and since has gained his experiences in the transportation field, including project management and design of urban and rural roadways, corridor studies, construction management, Wisconsin Department of Transportation coordination, and public involvement. He serves as Director of Business Development for Strand, a key role he has held since 2012.

Kent, an Oregon, Wisconsin, resident for more than 20 years, earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering with emphases in transportation and environmental engineering from University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He is a licensed professional engineer in Wisconsin.
Kent serves on the University of Wisconsin-Platteville College of Engineering, Mathematics, and Science Advisory Board and was a recipient of a Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s Excellence in Highway Design Award for the STH 35/Hanley Road Interchange in St. Croix County.
