In a crowded healthcare market, providers must strive for competitive advantages. SSM Health determined that a welcoming and effective facility in the Beaver Dam gave them an opportunity to expand their coverage and better accommodate their patients.
Prioritizing Patient Wellness
IMEG Corp. delivered. The building is expected to be the first WELL v2-certified health clinic in Wisconsin. WELL v2 sets out high standards for ten concepts that help make patients and staff comfortable. It ranges from focus on air quality and sufficient lighting to items that may go unnoticed, such as the materials used for construction and how sound travels throughout the building. These design considerations flowed together to deliver a comforting environment. The facility qualifies for LEED certification as well which is a mark of exceptional sustainability in design.
An Effective Workplace
The creature comforts in a WELL v2 building apply to staff as well. The design team thoughtfully laid out the building to boost collaboration between the 30 providers and offer easy access to the facilities they use daily. Most spaces have natural light and floors adjacent to external walls are heated.
