MSA Professional Services is pleased to announce that Alistair Hancox, Jed Khampane and Nick Manke have all earned their Professional Engineer license (PE). Read the full press release below:

'MSA Professional Services, Inc. (MSA) recognizes the accomplishments of three individuals who recently earned Professional Engineer (PE) licensure. To earn a PE license, engineers must hold a four-year degree in engineering from an accredited engineering program, work under a professional engineer for at least four years, pass two intensive competency exams and earn a license from the state licensure board. PE licensure is the engineering profession’s highest standard of competence – a symbol of achievement, assurance of quality and commitment to ethical standards of practice.

Alistair Hancox, PE, is a water resources engineer who joined MSA in 2016. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and is experienced in stormwater network modeling and design, hydraulic and hydrologic analysis, water resources and wastewater design. Alistair also serves as the chair of MSA’s stormwater Community of Practice (CoP) and works from the firm’s Madison office.

Jed Khampane, PE, is a project engineer based in MSA’s Madison office. He joined in 2019 and received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Jed is skilled in site design and plan production, surveying and a variety of other municipal engineering services.

Nick Manke, PE, is a project engineer in the firm’s Baraboo office. He joined MSA full time in 2019 after being a part of the company’s internship program for three years. Nick holds a Ph.D., master’s degree and bachelor’s degree, all in civil engineering, from Iowa State University. He specializes in civil engineering materials and has experience on a variety of geotechnical, structural and construction projects.
